The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) had organised a Klinik Umrah MATTA 2.0 on 16 January 2019 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur after positive feedback and response by MATTA Bumiputera members at the previous Klinik Umrah last year.
Themed on Umrah Digitalisation, the objective of the event is to educate members of the importance of utilising digital platform particularly on the use of social medium for Umrah marketing. Members also had the opportunity to explore the importance of indemnity to travel agents and asset management.
The event was officiated by MATTA Deputy President, Tuan Haji Mohd Akil Mohd Yusof where he encouraged travel agents to fully utilised the digital platform to market Umrah packages including providing top-notch facilities and security assurance for Umrah travellers.
The event was then followed by presentations from digital marketing experts such as FunnelEvo, Akar Digital Sdn Bhd and other travel-services related companies.
About 80 participants attended the event.
