The new MATTA Perak Chapter office has been successfully officiated on Saturday, 26 January 2019 by Guest of Honour, YB Howard Lee, EXCO of Youth & Sports Development Perak, representing YB Tan Kar Hing, EXCO of Tourism, Arts and Culture, together with Datuk Tan Kok Liang, MATTA President and Chong Yu Ken, MATTA Perak Chapter Chairman.
The official opening of the MATTA Perak Chapter office signifies the Association growth as Malaysia’s leading and largest national travel Association with commitment to serve our members together with the State Government to maximise the potential of Perak one of the nation's top tourism destination. The new office located at Bandar Ipoh Raya, Perak are well equipped with facilities and space to facilitate members training workshops while providing the Perak Chapter Committee and Secretariat a better working environment to serve members.
At the official opening ceremony, MATTA President said," The physical transformation and modernisation of MATTA Perak Chapter is a strong resemblance to MATTA’s commitment to our members and tourism industry in Perak. From humble beginnings, MATTA Perak Chapter members has grown to over 140 members now and establishing itself as an active and important key industry player in Perak."
The office opens up a new space for commitment and importance, designed to meet the expectations of MATTA and Perak State Government for the growth of the tourism industry in Perak and the industry as a whole.
Over 100 attendees were present at the event which includes MATTA Perak Chapter members, hoteliers and other tourism agencies.
