The 42nd AGM of the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) was successfully held on 15 July 2017 at Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. One of the important key milestones achieved at the annual meeting was the election of Datuk Tan Kok Liang as MATTA President for the term 2017-2019 and the election of new lineup of EXCO members to spearhead the aspirations of the association over the new term.
Members at the annual general meeting adopted several key reports, among them were the Annual Report 2016, the audited financial statements and the Annual Budget 2017. Attended by 474 Members, the AGM is a platform for MATTA members to meet and comprehend the objectives and direction of the Association and activities as well as getting to know the leadership team that help grow MATTA to a new level in the industry.
