KUALA LUMPUR, 15 AUGUST 2024 – The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) MATTA is pleased to announce Taiwan as “International Favourite Destination” at the MATTA Fair, 6 – 8 September 2024, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur (MITEC). This recognition highlights Taiwan’s continuous efforts in promoting its great attractions and exciting travel experiences to the Malaysian holiday seekers and travelers.
The MATTA Fair, Malaysia’s largest travel and tourism fair, will feature many international exhibitors from many countries promoting new destinations showcasing exciting attractions to the visitors to the Fair. This year’s event is expected to attract thousands of visitors, eager to discover new travel opportunities and destinations.

Abe Chou, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Administration KL Office announced that to further grow and increase the Muslim travel market to Taiwan, a dedicated "Salam Taiwan Pavilion" in Level 2, booth number: 2H13, will prominently showcase Taiwan’s Muslim-friendly travel and holiday offerings through 10 specialized travel agencies promoting and selling Muslim friendly tour packages aimed at boosting Muslim travelers' confidence in choosing Taiwan as their next holiday destination.

The MATTA Fair offers free admission and is open from 10 am to 9 pm for the three days, from Friday, 6 September 2024 to Sunday, 8 September 2024. MATTA provides free shuttle services to MITEC from KL Sentral and Sunway Putra Mall, and back. Visitors are encouraged to use these free shuttle services to the MATTA Fair venue. Additionally, there will be attractive prizes to be won when you use the shuttle service, making your journey to the MATTA Fair even more rewarding.
