Dear Members,
The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents, MATTA is pleased to inform that we are organizing the MATTA FAIR® 2 - 4 SEPTEMBER 2022 at the WORLD TRADE CENTRE (WTC), KUALA LUMPUR (WTC KL, formerly known as PWTC KL). This will be the 51st edition of MATTA FAIR® to be held in Kuala Lumpur. The halls available for MATTA FAIR® September 2022 will comprise of Hall 3, 4, 5 and 5 Foyer of WTC with 514 booths available.
Please be informed and to take note of the following registration system:
1. Registration is by ONLINE ONLY.
2. Registration of exhibitors on the registration day will be by the sequence of the registration number generated once online registration is completed by the company/organization.
3. The MATTA HQ Secretariat Office in Kuala Lumpur will begin accepting MATTA FAIR® Registration Form submitted via online starting from Tuesday, 28 June 2022, 10.00am until all booths taken up. Even though exhibitors have registered, exhibit companies are reminded that booths are NOT guaranteed but subject to availability of booths in the hall.
4. Upon a company registration, our office will issue an invoice of the total cost involved to your company for payment for your participation in the MATTA Fair.
5. The assignment of booth’s location will be on balloting basis according to the registration number given during the online registration. The date for selection of booth location to be held at MATTA HQ Secretariat Office, Fraser Business Park, Kuala Lumpur, will be advised later.
6. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or shorten the MATTA FAIR® in the event of any unforeseen circumstances that are beyond the control of the Organiser.
7. If the Fair is cancelled, then all payments made shall be refunded. No other claims or compensation will be entertained.
8. All halls are for the sale and promotion of Domestic or International tour and travel packages and also travel related product.
REGISTRATION KIT IS NOW AVAILABLE, from http://register.mattafair.org.my
All travel agents / tour operators MUST submit a copy of their company's valid license issued by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Malaysia. The license validity must cover through the period of the MATTA FAIR® 2-4 September 2022.
Kindly pay special attention to the following salient Rules & Regulation, for your attention:-
• BOOTH PRICES AND SECURITY DEPOSITS (REFUNDABLE) VARY ACCORDING TO THE CATEGORY YOU ARE REGISTERED AS BELOW.
• PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT BOOTH PRICES HAS RETURN TO THE USUAL MATTA FAIR PRICES (AS BEFORE PANDEMIC).

• EXHIBITORS UNDER CATEGORY A, B AND C ARE AS FOLLOWS:
CATEGORY A
Travel Agencies which are ACTIVE MEMBERS only, as defined in the MATTA Constitution
CATEGORY B
Travel Agencies (non-MATTA members), hotels, GSAs, cruise operators, National Tourism Organizations (NTO), theme parks, and other places of attractions.
CATEGORY C
Any other company that does not fall into category A&B. (Timeshare companies, Online Travel Agency (OTA), banks, non-Malaysian licensed travel agencies, and foreign hotels are not allowed to participate)
• Exhibitors shall be provided with five (5) Exhibitor Badges per booth, FREE of charge. Additional Badges can be purchased from the Organiser at RM10.00 per badge prior to the Fair.
• The OFFICIAL REGISTERED NAME with MATTA Fair® must be at a minimum size of 21 cm (8 inches) and prominently displayed at all times at all sides of booths/open space during the Fair.
• EXHIBITORS SELLING AIR TICKETS and/or THEME PARKS ENTRANCE TICKETS must provide enough space for customers to line up within their booth/space area without blocking the passageway, and the neighbouring booth.
• All booths MUST BE carpeted.
• No sale of any kind of outside food and beverages.
All Exhibitors are requested to read and understand the updated Rules & Regulations, of the MATTA FAIR® 2 - 4 September 2022.
