MATTA is seeking a highly driven and meticulous Tourism Industrial Policy Specialist (Supervisory Level) to join our squad! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping tourism policies and driving industrial strategies that support the growth and sustainability of the tourism sector on a global scale.

This role will be reporting directly to the General Manager.
In this role, you will:

Policy Development and Analysis:

Craft and advocate for tourism policies that champion sustainability, innovation, and industry growth.

Evaluate the impact of existing and proposed policies on the tourism sector.

Prepare insightful policy briefs, reports, and position papers for diverse stakeholders.

Government Relations:

Get involve in discussions with government officials and policy makers for policy changes that benefit the tourism sector at local, national, and international levels.

Identify and promote best practices within the industry.

Industrial Strategy Development:

Work with industry partners to develop sustainable tourism initiatives.

Research and Data Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive research on tourism trends, policy impacts, and economic factors.

Analyse data to inform policy recommendations and strategic decisions.

Keep abreast of global developments in tourism and related industries.

Public Engagement and Advocacy:

Prepare presentations to promote our policy positions and initiatives.
Requirement:
• 2-3 years in tourism policy, governmental affairs, or a related field, with a preference for those with tourism industry experience.
• Minimally bachelor’s degree in public policy, Tourism Management, Political Science, or a related field
• A robust understanding of tourism policy and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
