More needs to be done to attract Chinese tourists - MATTA

KUALA LUMPUR: There is a need to review the country's tourism fundamentals in order to stay competitive, especially in terms of attracting more visitors from China, according to the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA). Its president, Datuk Tan Kok Liang, said yesterday he noted that besides Malaysia, over 100 countries were also wooing Chinese tourists who were simply spoilt for choice.
