Kindly be informed that Tourism Selangor, with the support from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture will organise Selangor International Indigenous Arts Festival (SIIAF) 2019 on 3 - 4 August 2019 at the National Botanical Park, Shah Alam.
SIIAF 2019 opens the opportunity to city-dwellers to experience Orang Asal ’s way of lives up-close-and-personal, through cultural and traditional dance performances from the Indigenous tribes from Malaysia and five oversea countries. Visitors get to take a stroll down the Borneo Street Market and, the Indigenous Handicraft and Indigenous Traditional Villages specially set-up for an enriched experience.
Among other attractions include A Photo Gallery Exhibition: Thousand Faces Of The Indigenous, Photography competition, Food Truck Zone, Fama Fruit Fiesta, free Health Screening Test by Columbia Asia, a Meet-and-Greet session with winners of Miss Cosmopolitan World, and two-day workshops on sketching and Jungle School Lesson, conducted by the Orang Asal contemporary artist and retired gentleman; Shaq Koyok and Raman Bahtuin.
Members are invited to bring your tourists to the Selangor International Indigenous Arts Festival 2019 for them to experience and witness the event.
