MATTA’s Air Transportation Sub-Committee is organising a MATTA Networking Session with GDS (Global Distribution System) on 17 January 2019 at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur.
In 2016, MATTA had conducted a similar session and it has received a good feedback from members. The purpose of the event is to update members more information on the new products and services by the GDS.
This is also in regards to upcoming changes related to BSP Malaysia with New Gen ISS implementation effective Q1 2019. All BSPs are expected to be migrated to NewGen ISS by 2020.
MATTA believes with this continuous effort would able to enhance and develop mutual business relationship between the agents and the GDS.
Objectives of the events as follows:

To update on GDS new products and services

To provide an opportunity for members to seek clarification on difficulty issues pertaining on GDS

To get timely update from GDS

Networking and build rapport among the participants and presenters
MATTA Networking with GDS will be divided into 2 Sessions.

In the morning, there are presentations from IATA, Amadeus and Travelport
-
In the afternoon, members can meet with the 2 GDS for Dialogue and discussion during the breakout-session. In respect of GDS antitrust laws, strictly no discussion on fares and commission are allowed
